The Log Doctor completed a comprehensive exterior restoration and deck renovation for this residence, transforming the home with a rich, updated finish and improved structural integrity. The project began with full blasting and log grinding to remove aging coatings and prepare the surfaces for proper adhesion. After applying Penetreat to strengthen and protect the wood, we finished the logs and siding in Sashco Capture Gunstock Brown, creating a warm, natural base tone. The posts, railing, and soffit were finished with a custom 50/50 blend of Sashco Capture Chestnut and Dark Walnut, adding depth and contrast. The trims and fascia received a bold Copper Verde finish, while the front door was refreshed in a striking Navajo Red. Decking repairs were completed and the deck surface was refinished with 25% Light Chestnut, tying the entire exterior together. Final chinking ensured a clean, weather-tight seal throughout the home.
